Just because I was out of town on the day itself doesn’t mean you are absolved from giving me presents. I want presents! Lots and lots of presents! Or you may accost me at the mall or approach me in a restaurant, remembering to grovel and scrape, but only if you have a present for me. And it has to be nice. Here’s a Tom Waits advisory for you:
He’ll be making an appearance at Tuesday’s episode of The Daily Show With Jon Stewart (11/28/06). Jon also mentioned that he’ll be performing a song as well. I think the last musician to do this is Jack White (along with Meg of course).

Would you settle for a Tom Waits download? It’s off the Anti Records website, so it’s an officially sanctioned download. Interestingly enough, it’s also the record label of one of my favorite singers ever, Neko Case.
