Not the most riveting episode. Characters uncover secrets we already know. Vorenus still in a sulk, fights with Pullo. Rome preparing for civil war again, Octavian raising an army. Cicero forms an alliance with Octavian, stops being Antony’s bitch, denounces Antony in the Senate. “You have brought us war, pestilence, death; you are Rome’s Helen of Troy.” A poisoner in Atia’s house.
Carnage: The usual, plus Vorenus-Pullo smackdown.
Sex: Buggery, discussion of bestiality.
