Romance and economics
There will be an invitational screening of ufo Pictures’ ENDO on Wednesday, 17 October, 7pm at Cine Adarna, the University of the Philippines Film Center, Diliman QC. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and forum.
Endo is a romantic comedy set in the world of contractual labor. It was written by Jade Castro, Michiko Yamamoto, and Raymond Lee, directed by Jade Castro, and stars Jason Abalos and Ina Feleo. It’s lovely. The screening is by invitation, no tickets will be sold. If you’d like to be invited, leave a comment and I’ll get back to you. See you at UP.

hello, jessica! i want to see endo. i failed to catch it during its cinemalaya run. this is one film that i know i should see if there’s a chance. mukhang matagal-tagal pa ata ang commercial run, eh.

Got home like 2 hours ago from Endo’s screening in UP. The movie’s impressive. Love the simplicity and down-to-earth treatment of the story. It isn’t too raw as I expected to be. The behavior of the cameras, angles are all very much and undeniably “indie” but it didn’t give a headache. The script is actually undemanding but not plain at all; a good combination for me.
Well, thanks for the invites again… As you’ve told me, I should spread the word, err words (watch Endo, watch Endo) Ü
P.S. You were okay in our picture, while I look stoned or something. I knew, I should’ve really articulated the word you told me to utter while the picture was being taken. (Now, everybody thinks of that word now) Clue: You do it with your teeth, and you could do it with your hair.
