here’s a comment, more than a year later. doreen’s “visit” to elwood perez happened just the day before her birthday - Oct 28. i will never forget that date, because my dad died on an Oct 28. doreen died on the 22nd of june (my dad’s birthday is june 15).

Speaking of death, make sure to check out No Country For Old Men when it comes out over there. This is the Coen Brothers the way most of us remember when they did Fargo. Javier Bardem’s character is so psychotic and evil. It must be those eyes.

Reminds me of Ishmael Bernal. He was their contemporaries, if i am not mistaken. (or i just associated him with them). I remember my college professor, Ms. Rustica Carpio giving me the thank you card sent by Director Bernal’s family to her, for the sympathy she has shown during the director’s passing away.
