My life as a talky movie
Today. Lunchtime. The Mandarin cafe/jungle in Gateway.
Grungella: Why’d you break up with your boyfriend?
Grover: He said he was commitment-phobic.
Guy Smiley: You should’ve said you were breakup-phobic!
Grover: It wasn’t a huge surprise. He did say at the start that he wasn’t ready for a relationship.
Grungella: That’s what my last one said, too! But I never listen because I believe that an exception should be made in my case.
The Count: I ran into my ex. He used to be buff, but now he’s fat.
Everyone: That’s wonderful!Good for you!
The Count: A purely sexual relationship is really the best kind.
Kermit: But what about love?
Grover: I thought you were looking for a boyfriend, I didn’t know you were looking for romance.

Kermit: But what about love?
Pfsh. If youre looking for a stable relationship, love is the least of your requirements. In fact in most cases it may even be detrimental to a relationship since it clouds your better judgement.
Love is just chemistry. Chemicals dont make for lasting relationships. Love is just a holdover from when we were swinging from trees. We’re humans now. For a lasting relationship, what’s required is intelligence (especially the emotional kind), stability (as opposed to psychological INstability), and compatibility. Love is now just a marketing tool and a very good one since it still sells products.

Well, we just have to fall in love over and over again, until we get sick and tired of it…or so we thought…it’s prolly, lusting and lusting, over and over again, until we can’t figure out the difference anymore.
Love and relationships are overrated. Why do we burden other people to put up with our complications anyway? And why do we exert effort, too, when nobody’s really REALLY worth it. Go figure.
