I used to like my chinelas collection; now, not so much. But I still find them comfortable and familiar, especially when i get blisters from the new stilettos. Bottom line is I'm not giving them away anytime soon.

Redjeulle, I'm going to need more information. Like, what are your feelings about tsinelas? Because I myself associate tsinelas with killing ipis, so when I see people going to work in tsinelas I don't care how fashionable they are, I still think ipis.

I gave your interpretation some thought and I think you're not entirely off course. Right now I'm confronted with a situation wherein my concern over a close friend's venture could potentially make me seem like the bad guy. Maybe being "hunted down" is really my fear of having my motives misconstrued?

As for the pregnant lady, my relationship with my friend is more sisterly in nature in that I look out for her like I would a younger sibling. A vague connection but it's the only thing I can think of.

Maybe you should have a blog category dedicated to strange/disturbing dreams. Just a thought.

Anyway, thank you!

I had this very strange dream where I was supposed to go to a party but for some reason I had to have all my chinelas accounted for before I could go and enjoy myself.

I went back to the house and counted them, then I found out I was missing a few pairs, so I went around and found that some of them are being scrubbed and cleaned. So I was going through my checklist and only one pair is actually missing, the carnation pink one. Which was weird because I don't own any carnation pink item and I'm sure there were no chinelas made with that sad color.

I kept bugging people if they saw it anywhere, then a friend told me that he let her boyfriend borrow it for a bit because he was barefoot. I was okay with that but I went to see him anyway, and he was all nuh uh this is mine and of course I was all nuh uh it's not yours let me see that; so he showed it to me and true enough it wasn't mine because it said "Havana".

So I dropped it, went back inside again to look for it, then I found this old lady sitting in front of the TV. She asked me what I was looking for, I told her, then she pointed on a shelf above her. The missing pair was there, but after all the trouble I went through, once I found it I didn't want it anymore.

Just before waking up this morning I was having a dream wherein I had this terrible headache. It was on the right side of my head and it made me feel like throwing up. Then I woke up. Headache was gone. Now I know how a miraculous healing feels like. Or a shot of morphine. One moment excruciating pain, the next moment relief.

About eilish's dream. Do you feel that if people knew who you really are, they would turn against you/hunt you down? Initially anyway, because at the end of the dream they go over to your side. Who's the pregnant lady? Are you "incubating" an idea that might be controversial?

Of course, I may be very wrong.

About iamnotfrodo's dream. Vivid colors, yellow and purple. Do you think your life is bland, or do you simply have a craving for sapin-sapin ricecake? And if we assume that everyone in your dream represents you: Are you worried that if you express your opinions you will get yourself into trouble? Hence the strangling to keep yourself from speaking up.

Tell me if I'm anywhere near the mark.

The other night I had this nightmare that I was Sweeney Todd's daughter and that he was dead set on slashing my throat. He chased me all around town (I'm not sure what town it was but it looked provincial) with a bloody razor hanging from his neck. He clearly wasn't Johnny Depp because he looked old and shrivelled. Anyway, the townsfolk ended up rallying against him and a pregnant lady shot him multiple times with a machine gun.

I' m not sure if this even needs further interpretation but the weird thing is I watched Sweeney Todd over a month ago.

I dreamt I was riding a yellow bus. The passengers suddenly started talking amongst themselves, and I eavesdropped. A huge man in a gray trench coat and fedora made this stupid comment I can't remember, but he had on a very serious face. I laughed and the people looked toward me. I told everyone I found what he said hilarious because it was so incredibly dumb. The people started laughing as well. All of a sudden, I felt the man's shadow behind me. I looked behind, and he was glowering. It was physically impossible for him to get behind me without anyone seeing him do so, and I was just about to ask him that when he suddenly grabbed me by the neck and lifted me from my seat. I immediately turned purple from his abnormally strong grip and I started sputtering for air. I felt myself dying in his hands and fast. That's when I woke up. It was so vivid I was shaking...
