Dark matter detected?
Physicists postulate the existence of an invisible form of matter which does not shine or reflect light, which accounts for 90 percent of the mass of the universe. Its huge gravitational pull is believed to hold galaxies together. They call it “dark matter”. Now scientists from the University of Rome announce that they’ve discovered dark matter underneath a mountain in Abruzzo.

That’s it, I’m writing a screenplay about this “dark matter”. It will be a science fiction based on the dark substances found underneath the Pasig Sewer, er, river. I imagine this evil matter will rise from the bowels of the river, form into a giant blob monster, and devour all the polluting buses, jeepneys, tricycles, fxs, and dilapidated vehicles that fumigate the city with their black venom. It will swallow all the squatter residents whose idea of a septic tank and garbage site is the legendary river of Philippine folklore. Hopefully, this monster will not devour me because I ride a bike, but I ride wearing a complete arsenal of biological suit and gas mask. And I always have a concealed-carry 9mm pistol just in case. Hey, this is Metro Manila, people will stab you just to steal your bike. Incidentally, I have named my bike “Shadowfax”.
