Nevertheless, Ms. Lauper's a very underrated talent IMHO...she may lack Madge's toned abs and chameleonic onstage persona but she makes up for it with her songwriting skills drewa:

At her concert in Araneta Coliseum a few years back she was a charming, laidback performer who delivered the goods with very little fanfare. She kind of got overshadowed by her punk persona, marriage to pro wrestler and all. "Who Let in the Rain" and "Sally's Pigeons" still get me every time.
