ESPN USA has a Wimby ad that shows Ivanovic and Djokovic as the voice-over says “the changing of the guard is in the air”. After Djoker’s loss to Marat, he was edited out from the 30sec clip that also features Federer (”one man chases history”).

OT: Anybody know what these are called:

I seem to have come across a term referring to those symbols when used to denote swearing or some other strong emotion, but #!%$#@#*!!! I just can’t remember the #!%$#@#*! term. Anybody?

Hard not to love this guy! Watched scores on Wimbledon site and kept saying to Ivanovic and Dechy — get it over with so the camera can go to Center Court!
Did you all watch or read his interviews after the game? He talked about having played in Court 11(”almost the next club”) the previous day and that he was prepared to leave for home that night! Poor guy. BUT he was brilliant! As one article said… he could have been the Alpha male of tennis!

How embarrassing for Borg’s second pick to win Wimby (Fed is only third!) to lose in straight sets to the 75th player in the world who hasn’t been able to win back-to-back matches this season, especially after talking trash about Federer (”shaken”, “mentally struggling”, “worried”). Djoker should just let his tennis do the talking next time.

I’m so happy I could cry! If Marat does well in the Wimbledon, it will be worth all the heartache of having missed him when he went out in the 2nd round of the Aus Open.

I fainted when I watched Marat’s game (via live streaming in the Internet). Novak’s consolation was that he was able to hug Marat. If Star Sports is not airing some matches, try watching in http://www.justin.tv/slazenger. Eat grass, Novak Djokovic! (How many precious points are lost, considering it’s just the 2nd round?!)

i was ecstatic when the match ended! i was watching online scores while studying for an exam in less than 12 hours :)

it’s too bad for djokovic though. he could’ve ended federer’s run in the wimbledon.

and hewitt made it to 3rd round as well, i miss the old guys of tennis!
