The mermaid in the tower
The watchtower in Sitio Remedios, on the lookout for pirates. The ones with eyepatches and peg legs who go “Harrrr”, not the ones we are warned about at the cinema, “trying to camcord the movie”.

That’s a mermaid at the window. Apparently Rapunzel is out of town, so the Little Mermaid is subbing for her.

I thought I’ve seen this post before. Anyway, it’s HOT up there in Ilocos, huh. Really hot. Been there last May and I got heat stroke right there in Vigan after stepping out of the airconditioned vehicle. It must have been 40 degrees out there, and when we left Manila it was raining. But the views make the trip worth it. Anyway, there’s a joke that the Ilocos chichacorn isn’t roasted at all. They just leave the corn kernels to dry under the Ilocos sun, and after a few hours, it’s all ready to be packed and sold as such.

Man, I wish I had a neighbor like that! You know, looking out her window, with breasts hanging out. :-)
