As long as it arrives we don’t care if it’s mortal
Oh look, a new product from GLOBE TATTOO PREPAID, THAT WORTHLESS PIECE OF CRAP. It’s called Immortal Text. I’m guessing it means you have to be immortal to use it, because it takes several human lifetimes for your text message to arrive.
I sent the Tattoo a P97 load by text last Wednesday. Today is Saturday and it has still not arrived. I loaded P300 by card last Thursday. P165 of it vanished in 12 minutes of 0.00 kbps. Amazing! Could this have happened because, all together now, GLOBE TATTOO PREPAID IS A WORTHLESS PIECE OF CRAP?
Interesting how people I work with have been contacted by Globe reps but no one has thought to respond to me. The person who complained in the first place. Could it be. . .Terror?
I’m waiting, Globe. By the way, my stats have gotten a big boost and I’ve received lots of comments from people who have experienced the sheer hell of using GLOBE TATTOO PREPAID, THAT WORTHLESS PIECE OF CRAP. Thanks! Oh, and you owe me for the free rebranding.

I was at Market! Market! earlier and saw Globe Tattoo Broadband’s ad on the sides of one of their escalators blaring, “The Fastest Growing Broadband, etc., etc.” Subliminally it says, “Our USB modem’s sell like hotcakes because they’re cheap, but they’re not necessarily fast!”
Smart’s claim that theirs is “The No. 1 Wireless Broadband”—now there’s some truth!

I think its the USB thats the problem. I have a Globe Tattoo USB and an HSDPA mobile phone which you can use as a modem (most recently released Nokia phones have this feature not sure for other brands though) which is also on Globe.
Just checking my facebook using the Globe Tattoo USB involves a lot of page refreshing and hair pulling. Browsing through phone though is a breeze, media streaming (e.g. youtube) doesnt even pause to buffer. Both uses HSDPA technology, so i dont know why there’s any difference in speed?
You might want to just use your phone if its modem-enabled and HSDPA-enabled. Charges are the same 5 pesos for 15 minutes.
My phone is on postpaid and the Tattoo is on prepaid, I dont know if that makes any difference. Hhhmm come to think of it why do they have the option on the interface if you are using prepaid or postpaid?

Globe does not allow 3G usage [or at least 3G usage speed] to Prepaid customers. I bought an LG KU250 a year or so ago since it can be used as a modem. Only to be disappointed at the blazing speed of EDGE technology [which is the predecessor of 3G. Think of it as dial-up to DSL/Cable internet]. I checked in some forums and verified that it is a limitation of prepaid users, so that might be the reason why there is an option between prepaid and postpaid on the software interface.
