Here at last are the winners of our LitWit Challenge: Gatsby in Filipino: hyacinth and pelikula76. Congratulations! Please post your full names in Comments under this post (they won’t be published), and watch this space for instructions on picking up your copies of Netherland.
Our judge for the translation contest was Uro de la Cruz, novelist (Antyng-Antyng), screenwriter (Scorpio Nights), movie and TV director (Scaregivers, Bubble Gang), photographer (see photo above) and conspiracy theorist (If I told you I’d have to kill you).
The Weekly LitWit Challenge is brought to you by National Bookstore.
The winners of the two most recent LitWit Challenges, Gatsby in Filipino and Revolting Scenarios, can pick up their prizes any time at the second floor Customer Service counter, National Bookstore Glorietta 5, Ayala Avenue, Makati.

I like the impromptu party in Chapter 2 of The Great Gatsby, where Tom, Nick, and Myrtle go to Morningside Heights apartment.
