Finals, Melbourne

One minute Justine Henin is announcing her return to the game, the next minute she’s in the women’s singles final of the Australian Open against her nemesis, Serena Williams. A lot of history in that match-up (particularly that French Open finalsemifinal).
Roger Federer will meet Andy Murray for the men’s singles title. Murray is the in-form player of the tournament and he’s hungry for his first grand slam. But having 15 slams doesn’t mean Roger is no longer motivated to win. He will want to make up for his crying jag at last year’s trophy ceremony.

Roger’s on-court interview with Jim Courier is more interesting than the match.

Serena and Justine have never met in a slam final before. It was a semis match in 03, the French booed Serena and applauded her errors. She lost; the Serena slam was broken.
No comment on the men’s final. I won’t even mention that.. tennis guy’s name. I’m superstitious.

I’m so nervous for the daddy. I hope the daddy wins. GO DADDY!
