Jake Robrigado Letts is a member of the Philippine rugby team. Here he looks unhappy—not because the national rugby 7’s team lost at the Shanghai Sevens this weekend, that came later, but because I was photographing him. Taken last Wednesday in Noel’s house, with Juan’s camera.
Frequently-asked question: Isn’t he a little skinny for a rugby player? Well someone has to slip between the thundering hippopotami and grab the ball. Also, we noted a conundrum while we were shooting: with shirts the rugby players look normal-sized, without shirts they look immense.
Jake is taking his master’s degree in sports management. He manages professional athletes.
