The same people behind that horrid survey a few years ago. They approached the UP admin and asked if we wanted to participate in the survey. That’d be US$10,000, please. UP said no thanks, we’re not interested. So they made ADMU #1. UP couldn’t care less. We’re THE national university.
Quite a mouthful for one who “couldn’t care less”. Pff.
Two in the top twenty ain’t bad for a 3rd world country. No Malaysian made it, just one Thai (but way up there) and one Indian. Two Indonesians as well but below us. I say good show.
Heck, I’m an employee of THE university, and I don’t find anything worth crying about in these rankings. Just seeing ADMU and UP on the same list as the National University of Singapore is nothing to sneeze at, either.
Point being, we’re still hanging in there, and there’s no shame in that game.
