1) Marry a white foreigner is “improving our race” raw, sabi ng iba. We get light-skinned, caucassian looking pinoy kids.
2) We can’t translate our presence in foreign countries into political power if we are too assimilated in those said countries. We need to see ourselves as Pinoys first, Americans second. Pinoys first, Germans second. Pinoys first, Brits second.
I say Turkish PM Erdogan is on to something here when he encourages german-turks not to fully assimilate
