We choose a winner by palakpakan. (With final tally!)
Thanks to Zombadings, “ng”, “nang”, your love for Jon Snow and your distrust of Danaerys (Baka pag-interesan ng hitad ang aking irog!) the winner by acclamation is MANILA BEANS! Congratulations, Manila Beans!
Turmukoy mag-usap tayo, baka gusto mong mag-kolum (Koya Sireks??). Manila Beans and Turmukoy, let’s have coffee next week so we can hand over your prizes? Let me know what day you are free. Shangri-La, 2pm?
Update: Ha! We are the only people with free time around here. Manila Beans and Turmukoy, you can pick up your prizes any day starting Friday, 9 September at the Customer Service desk, National Bookstore, Power Plant Mall, Makati.
Meanwhile:
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Isang taon rin nating ibinenta ‘to, noh. Soplak! Awaaaaaaard!
Pero hindi pa tapos ang sabunutan! Please tell all your friends to see Zombadings and tell them to bring all their friends and relatives. And spread the word outside Metro Manila: Zombadings 1: Patayin Sa Shokot Si Remington is now showing at SM Cinemas nationwide.
Raymond, kailangan natin ng party with Remington and Jigs!
Clue: Mahal ninyo shaaaaaa!

We received only two entries to the Weekly LitWit Challenge 6.8: How to Dance With Dragons, but both are good enough conceptually to make choosing one winner a difficult task.
Turmukoy’s story covers the Danaerys-Khal Drogo marriage in the form of a letter to the sex columnist/s Xerex, and Manila Bean’s story is set at The Wall as Jon Snow, Sam and the men of the Night’s Watch encounter a wight walker who seems to have strayed in from Zombadings 1: Patayin Sa Shokot Si Remington (It opened today! Have you seen it yet? Have you seen it yet?).
So we’ve decided to outsource the migraine to you, Discerning Reader. Yes, we will give the prize to the entry that wins the popular vote. Vote in Comments, quick! The runner-up will get a consolation prize for their fine effort.
Read the two entries in Comments, and then cast your vote. Votes will be accepted until noon tomorrow.
The Weekly LitWit Challenge is brought to you by our friends at National Bookstore.

September 4th, 2011 at 21:32
Nagkataong “by” sa ingles. “Body of a bandit” imbis na “my body romanced by a bandit.”
(Pero hindi rin ako sigurado. :-) )

Hey Jessica,
To my regret it seems I won’t be able force my schedule into being predictable enough for me to be able to know for certain that I won’t be standing you up in case I grab the offer to meet up with you. Most of my large chunks of free time these days are often late at night or in the wee hours of the morning. That being the case, would it be possible for me to pick up the prize instead? Anywhere convenient to you would be fine.
Thanks :)

Hey Jessica, I have just now found out that the copy was signed by GRRM. I was carrying it around all day with the ribbon intact. If my dog didn’t chew on it I wouldn;t have found out that nice surprise. Thanks again! :D
