Yesterday we reported on graphic novelist Alan Moore (Watchmen, V for Vendetta) vs graphic novelist Frank Miller (Dark Knight, 300). Root of discord: Opposing views on the Occupy movement.
Today’s opponents: Scott Rudin, producer of the David Fincher movie The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and film critic David Denby of the New Yorker. Root of discord: Denby’s review of Dragon Tattoo. Which was positive, except that he wasn’t supposed to publish it until December 13 and it’s out in this week’s New Yorker.

Not at all snarky considering Denby is the author of the book Snark. Rudin is being petulant; Denby disingenuous. The guys who write comic books are so much more grown-up.

I really liked the original version so I have low expectations of the remake so as not to be disappointed. Rooney Mara looks great with her hair that way – it’s definitely distinct.

An Empire magazine reader mentioned that Rooney Mara looked like Marc Almond when he was in Soft Cell.
