I remember my grandparents’ set had two parts: the Micropedia and Macropedia (I had to wiki the titles because I already forgot.) The set was older than I; except for the fact that they were covered in roach egg shells and mouse poop, they were in good condition. My most vivid memories are of me reading up on “sexual deviation” and the mixed odors of wood, dust, roach, and mouse pee.

You mean our 1973 edition is a collector’s item now?
And out of topic, have you seen the chart of NPR’s top 100 sci-fi/fantasy books: http://www.box.com/shared/static/a6omcl2la0ivlxsn3o8m.jpg

When I dropped by at Pick a Book in SM City – Dasma some weeks ago, a volume of EB published in the 80s and early 90s costs less than Php 200. I was about to get one but I was looking for a Ja-Ju volume.

My favorite set is Time-Life’s Mysteries of the Unknown. It’s this… encyclopedia of most things weird. I don’t mind owning a set; you guys know where to find them? Thanks!
