How we’re spending our holiday break
From the official MMFF website. Please proofread your material before posting.
We’re going to review every single movie at the Metro Manila Film Festival.
We will try to do justice to the work of the filmmakers, especially if justice is called for. However, we reserve the right to walk out of the screening should the situation prove threatening to our sanity and, consequently, to the lives of our fellow moviegoers.

Egzoiting!

I had to do a double take. They lumped in the actors in one box and I thought One More Try would have Dingdong and Zanjoe (what is with these names) as a couple.

We’ll definitely watch #1 (looks promising, but I hope the trailer is not deceiving in that respect) and #8 (just because it’s become a tradition no matter how bad it is).
Possibly #2 and #3 if we have time.
Maybe #7, a very big maybe, but Dick Paulate is there and so is Aljur. I don’t think I’ve seen an Andoy Ranay-directed flick, but he’s okay as an actor-comedian. So we’ll play that by ear.
I don’t think I can stand trying to go through the rest. I salute you for your courage and resolve in going through ’em all again this year. :)

I might be tempted to watch El Presidente and Sosy Problems (i love white girls).
I wish Regal would make a yearly christmas/new year movie instead Shake Rattle and Roll (horror) for the nth time.

Ejia: That would be more intriguing than what the trailer promises.

Was supposed to go to the premiere of Sosy Problems last night. Good thing I didn’t. Friends say the movie’s terrible. Ano kaya iniisip ni Miriam Santiago while watching the movie. Hehe.

At least nobody thought of — of adding another column for “Directress”.
Also Alt-codes are your friend.
[Alt] + 164 (on the NumPad), allows you to write:
Sto. Niño, piña colada, jalapeño, Ybañez, Muñoz, etc.
:D

Let me guess…that “Sosy Problems” will be a huge flop. From the trailers alone I can tell that this will be a disaster….like they need to make a movie to tell us how the upper class mestiza women of 2012 live?and ruffa gutierrez?!

Ah, but is Sosy Problems “don’t bother seeing it” terrible, or “it’s such a horrible mess, you have to see it!” terrible?

I will watch the following.
Sosy Problems. Panonoorin ko ito para malaman nga kung talagang deserving si Maxine Magalona sa best actress nomination kahit wala sya sa trailer/ movie poster. Sa pirated copy ha o kaya sa loob ng G-Liner bus – will never let GMA Films take my money for that shiz.
SRR 14 looks promising.
The Strangers for the win. Enchong Dee with beard, the literal kind. Hell yeah.

If I can be at 2 places at once, I might watch One More Try and then Si Agimat, Si Enteng at si Ako and then El Presidente.
Out of curiousity, bakit si ER Ejercito ang nagiging bida ng biopics. Aieeeeeee!!! *slams face on the wall*

Kasi siya rin ang prodyuser.
