Polo club agrees to 2-week moratorium on catching and impounding cats
Mat says, “Please don’t throw out the cats. I was a stray cat and we don’t just walk up to humans and bite them. Yucch, humans are full of diseases, gross.”
Update on the Polo Club cats story:
The Manila Polo Club has declared a two-week moratorium on rounding up cats and taking them to the city pound.
Club president Roman Azanza met with concerned club members on the cat situation last Friday. The members proposed a feeding and vaccination program for the cats, which will be implemented in the next two weeks and presented to the club board on April 18.
The members will set up secluded feeding stations and water spray bottles for the cats, and put up “No Feeding of Cats” signs in the cogon. The cats living in the stables have their mothers looking after them.
We hope everything turns out well; we’ll have another update in two weeks.

Cat karma will get the guilty ones, but only if the cat avenging goddess would deign to ruffle her fur over them.
