The winner of LitWit Challenge: The Corruptibles is magilas.
For the Iron Chef meets OTJ story. We don’t know how true it is, but it sounds exactly like a group of friends swapping stories over a meal. Congratulations, magilas, you can pick up your prize at the Customer Service counter of National Bookstore at Power Plant Mall, Rockwell (telephone 8974562) after Friday, 20 September.
the boomerang kid, your consolation prize for the previous LitWit Challenge will also be available starting this weekend.
The LitWit Challenge is brought to you by our friends at National Bookstore.

Huwaw! Salamat.
Admissions: true corruption story, some details imagined including the story swap. story itself started a decade or so ago. i’m a minor character. wrote this specifically for this LitWit to see if i can hack it with the short deadline. i hardly write in Filipino/Tagalog, much less any dialogue. but I “heard” the story develop in my head in this form, dialogue and all. minor edits to make it more flowing. maybe i shouldn’t be over thinking, the writing i mean. writing this story was a blast.
Sasayaw sana ako kaya lang di pwede dito sa opis. sa daan na lang.
Thank you. Sa uulitin! may bonggang reason na to go to Power Plant Mall (aside from redeeming a voucher, adik lang sa voucher!)

Congratulations, magilas.
