On a related note, I only now just noticed the social media buttons on your blog (Like, Share, Tweet, etc.). Are these very new, or have I just not had enough attention to detail to not notice them recently.

Ooh, yes, that’s me. I’m a social media hermit. I don’t have a Twitter, Tumblr, or real Facebook account (the only one I have is a hastily-constructed one for things that require them, and I don’t actually use it). The only thing I have is a LiveJournal that hasn’t been updated since the apocalypse (12/21/12 last year).
