The first one is from “Heaven Can Wait” which starred Warren Beatty, Julie Christie and Jack Warden. Warren Beatty was gorgeous in this movie and so was Julie Christie. I saw this movie when I was in my sophomore year of college.
My player wasn’t able to play the other five of the themes : (

The 4th one was the only one I recognized right away. A Bout de Souffle by Godard. I just found out the music was written by Martial Solal. Hauntingly beautiful.
I know I’ve seen the movie for the 1st one but can’t remember which one. It just feels like an American one from the 1980s (or early 90s); it’s so characteristic of that era. I started noticing how film scores have certain similarities in terms of the decade they were made in after watching so many on Netflix and Amazon recently. I’d know which decade a few moments into the opening score.
Of course, I don’t think anything can beat Bernard Herrmann’s score for Vertigo, my personal all-time favorite.
