Please let this erase Twilight from our memories
Tom! Tilda! Jim Jarmusch!
Vampire enthusiasts, this is a Jim Jarmusch movie, so whatever you expect, that’s probably not going to happen.

How coincidental! I hadn’t heard of this movie until earlier this week when I saw it on IMDB. I read through some synopses, and it has intrigued me. I’m not sure it will be shown here, I don’t think I’ve seen it being advertised locally, plus I think it was in Sundance or one of those film festivals whose films rarely, if ever, make it here. Ah, well, this is what the internet is for, I guess.
On a related note, I just read this yesterday – 20 best vampire movies based on voting of the given site’s readers. A pretty credible list, I think. I would’ve ranked Coppola’s Dracula higher, though, but I am happy there is no Twilight in sight.

Finally! A proper vampire story with proper vampires: rockstar-skinny and strange-beautiful (proper name: Tom, Tilda, and Company).

Hi, Jessica! I’ve seen this film as one of the contenders for the Palme D’Or and it also was featured on TIFF. I’m interested in this film too and also the Act of Killing.I have a question though, have you seen Stranger by the Lake and Blue is the Warmest Color? If you have, what do you think of these films? I hope that we get to read them. Also, thanks and cheers!
