Philip Seymour Hoffman has died.
The actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his New York apartment on Sunday morning of an apparent drug overdose, according to a law enforcement official who requested anonymity because he was not certain the actor’s family had been informed of the death.
And remember to be honest and unmerciful.

He probably was the male counterpart of Meryl Streep. A true chameleon who immersed himself into each unique character so deeply and thoughtfully, never repeating himself, which is a fault of even some of the other great actors who are instantly recognizable as themselves even in different roles. And he made it all appear to effortless and natural.

This is brutal. One of my favorite actors. And that’s just not “favorite” meaning “one of the many that I like” — I mean truly one of the handful of working actors that I consider to be among the best. Maybe, actually, even my favorite… :( He was one of the few that him being in a film was enough to make me want to see it.
I just feel gutted right now. I didn’t realize he was struggling so much with drug and alcohol addiction…
RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Its design elements are the same as SM Aura Hypermarket mixed with Rustan’s Trinoma. Though mas mukha siyang part ng Ayala.

We saw him once, at a coffee shop in the West Village, with his partner and their kid. One of our companions wanted to take his picture. We said Leave him alone and we’re glad we did. Do you remember the first time you really noticed PSH? In our case it was in The Talented Mr. Ripley, where he played the loathsome Freddie. We saw Boogie Nights (late) shortly after that, and then Magnolia, where he played the kind nurse. You know how hard it is to play a good person onscreen without coming off as unreal? He did that. He didn’t even look like Truman Capote, but he was Capote, and if it hadn’t been him in Synecdoche, NY we would’ve shut off. As The Master…Goddamnit why is he dead.

I clearly remember the first time I saw him. In Scent of a Woman, I kept thinking “who is this guy, where did he from from?” as he kept outshining Chris O’Donnell in the few scenes he was on. There was just this patent CONFIDENCE that was shining through. In my mind, he was really a rich, asshole kid bullying other kids while the scenes with Pacino and O’Donnell were going on. LOL. And I remember going through the cast list at the end of the movie just to find out what his name was.

Lester Bangs in Almost Famous. I try to live by this scene always, and this is why the news made me sad: http://wilwheaton.tumblr.com/post/75514959615/thatlameblog-nprfreshair-the-only-true#notes

Like Johnny Depp and Meryl Streep, PSH is one of the few actors who “disappear” into a role and actually “become” the character – a true chameleon of modern cinema. So sad to see him go so soon.

I hope the people behind the Hunger Games will make necessary adjustments. Surely, his presence will be terribly missed. I just love how he pulled off in Catching Fire, terrific acting! RIP Hoffman!

He was admitted here where i work and i saw him in the cafeteria a few times. Nice guy, down to earth, not diva at all like some patients we’ve had. I was hoping news of his death was a hoax when i first saw it on facebook. So sad he’s gone. I loved him in Cold Mountain.
