Happy Birthday, Drogon! Today he is The Oracle.
We don’t know Drogon’s exact date of birth. He just showed up on our doorstep three years ago, when he was about a year old. Shortly afterwards our eldest cat Koosi died at age 14, and following the Roman Church’s practice of taking a date of significance to the pagans and assigning it to a Church holiday, we declared that Drogon would have the same birthday as Koosi, April 12. Happy Birthday to our white, blue and pink baby dragon! Yes, Drogon looks like those birth announcement cards.
Today, Drogon is The Oracle. You can ask him anything. Post your questions in Comments.
For instance: Drogon, is Jon Snow truly dead?
Drogon: Nope. R+L=J.

Happy birthday, Drogon! I wish you the best of everything and the universe on a silver bowl.
Will I die alone or will I find The One?
April 12th, 2016 at 17:54
Dear Scheherazade,
Of course you won’t die alone. Your friends will be with you. Friends are more important than lovers. In time you forget the names of those you lusted after, but you will always remember the times you spent with friends.
There is no One. There are many Ones.
Love,
Drogon

happy birthday drogon!
is kindness really overrated?
April 12th, 2016 at 19:04
Dear Dindin,
No, it is not. But there’s a difference between natural kindness and being kind because other people are watching.
I am alive because humans have been kind to me. Otherwise I would be a malnourished filthy street urchin eating garbage and crawling with vermin. Can you imagine me as that urchin? No!
Love,
Drogon

Hi Drogon! I have a dragon puppy that wishes you happy birthday too :) sadly he doesn’t know how to sing it That’s Entertainment style.
Question: I am working in an industry that will see radical change in maybe 5-10 yrs (think how Uber changed public transport). Should I begin to learn skills that will enable me to swim with the changing tide, or should I concentrate on moving up, assuming only one and not both were possible?
Pat pat Drogon!
April 13th, 2016 at 00:42
Dear greeneggsnham,
Do both! New skills are always useful.
You are always anxious about your career and yet it proceeds swimmingly. Maybe work on the personal life. Balance.
Love,
Drogon

Happy birthday Drogon! You’re beautiful. :)
What’s your opinion about dating somebody beyond your immediate age range? Say, somebody 18 years younger. Should you do it because, well, Carpe Diem, or is it a waste of time?
April 13th, 2016 at 11:40
Dear hellokevin,
You’ll never know until you’ve tried it. With much younger people, though, you will always be picking up the check. But we can’t generalize on the basis of age. So do it, because you don’t want to be sitting around 18 years from now wondering if it could’ve been fantastic. Regret is a useless emotion.
Love,
Drogon

Happy Birthday Drogon!
Question: I failed to be admitted at a law school of my dream. The result of the exam was released yesterday. Last year, I took the same exam and was listed for interview, but unfortunately I failed to impress the panel and wasn’t admitted. Now, I’m starting to doubt myself. I plant to continue with my next option: to apply in less prestigious school.
But my worry is, does school matter (esp. in the field of law) in the real world?
April 13th, 2016 at 12:55
Happy birthday, Drogon :D (And hello Koosi)..
I’m feeling rotten from fever, colds, cough, and a bad soar throat, and yet I must still do some work from home. I’m re-watching Daredevil Season 2, more like background noise while I do some work. No Jessica Jones in sight yet. And I’m almost sure it was Daryl that Negan killed in The Walking Dead season finale.
Any news or words of comfort, please?
Thanks.

Happy birthday Drogon!
Will the coming season of Game of Thrones be better than the last one (the worst so far)?
April 13th, 2016 at 17:01
Dear jaime,
If I say No, would you stop watching it?

Drogon

Dear red123,
Here is what Uncle Vince says. He went to Wharton.
“School matters less. Top tier schools, of course. But a decent law school is fine. More important is your work experience while studying law.”
Does this help? Abuelito Jedi Master would have tons to say about law school but is probably busy offending people on Twitter.
Love,
Drogon

happy, happy birthday drogon.
what’s your opinion of people, in a beautiful, scenic beach (clear, turquoise water and all), spending their whole day under a tree, reading a book?
April 13th, 2016 at 21:37
Dear Turmukoy,
I call them sane.
Love,
Drogon
April 14th, 2016 at 10:04
Thank you, Drogon. That’s a very sound advice, and yes it’s very helpful. I will keep that in mind. Kindly thank your human for me and your Uncle Vince, too.

P.S. to red123: Teddy Wan-Kenobi says it doesn’t matter because Jose Diokno was the greatest of them all and he home-studied.
