How to get the wind-in-your-hair effect
1. Slather anti-frizz or oil on hair to make waves stand out.
2. Aim three electric fans at hair.
3. Snap photo before subject gets pneumonia in cold studio.
In the photo, Marlon calculates wind shear while Carlo reaffirms his decision to shave his head.
Photography by Ricky Villabona. Hair and make-up styling by Marlon Rivera. Original art direction of hair by Noel Orosa. Vintage cat’s eye glasses from Nella Sarabia’s collection, UP Shopping Center. Hair, giant forehead, lopsided expression: Mine.
Meanwhile, the ruminations of He Who Is Handsome.

I’ve read all but two of your twisted books, discovered le carre, elmore leonard and all of salinger and paul thomas anderson’s works from this blog but not one of them’s at par with the image of the every move of your hair. It’s so turning people on.

It actually looks like a snapshot from a shampoo commercial. Working girl passes down the street, strong gush of wind blows, she grabs her glasses and her billowing skirt, and the guys walking by gaze at the sea of black hair seemingly alive in the wind. Girl stops, looks back at the guys, then turns around and smiles, and flips her hair only to resume walking down the pavement falling through a manhole. I trust only Pantene.

Recent photos of you are scarce. And this one really is by far the most interesting I’ve seen. Your hair and those red, almost generous lips are the most arresting. I wonder how you would look if glammed up.

Haha Ricky shoots a lot of shampoo commercials. I’m trying to find a handbag big enough to contain an industrial-strength electric fan.

As the servant of He Who Is Handsome, I’ve been told to tell you that he thinks you must be an excellent servant of your own cats who He must admit are very handsome like himself.
For myself, I love the picture and the glasses. I wish I could wear cat eye glasses, but they make me look very sad. Like a depressed secretary. You, on the other hand, are quite smashing in them.

Will make an excellent wallpaper…

Thank you, O Servant of He Who Is Handsome, I am honored. I wear cat’s eyes at the bidding of my cats, who find regular human eyes small and freakish.

So this is what you look like.

Great portrait. You all are having fun!

Yeah it would seem that we don’t see you a lot lately (or it’s just me) so this pic is really something. Any chance we’ll be seeing you on tv/YouTube? :)

My friend and I used to gawk at Jessica while killing time at a California Cafe in Megamall together with her soothsayer friend Henry. I sent her an e-mail telling her how much she reminds us of Daphne Zuniga of Melrose Place.
She e-mailed me back a thank-you for seeing the miniscule resemblance.
I still keep a hard copy of that e-mail, tucked between the pages of one of the books in my complete Twisted collection.
My friend and I maintain that Daphne looks like Jessica…
