Despite being caught up in a real-life remake of Bridesmaids (Not the Jon Hamm issue, the gowns) our indefatigable stalker researcher is on the job. She reports that The Bourne Legacy is looking for extras.
“We are casting 1000 CROWD TALENTS (Class B and below—C, D, etc) for MULTIPLE shoot days between Jan. to Mar. 2012. pls send your profiles (name, age, height, vital stats, contact #s) and picture to: janellyn.briones@gmail.com ASAP. Deadline of submission is JANUARY 6 (Friday). MINIMUM AGE is 13years old and NO MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT. as long as he/she can walk. Minimum talent fee (per shooting day) is 300php.”
Brewhuh adds that filming will also be done in Palawan.
Reminders:
1. They need crowd extras, not a leading lady (Rachel Weisz has been cast and she has an Oscar and a Daniel Craig).
2. You don’t have to hire a professional hair and make-up artist, stylist and photographer for your pictures.
3. Don’t squabble over your billing.
4. This is not for your facebook, this is for an action movie.
We hope the filmmakers have excellent crowd control and brilliant editors because there will be random people in the shots smiling ecstatically and waving at the camera.

Yehey! Now I could schedule my fieldwork for this semester around the shoots… you know, to avoid traffic. Yeah, traffic.
The non-logical part of my brain wants to start stalking the lobbies of Intercon, Manila Pen, and Oriental Manila in the pretense of ordering a gin-and-tonic at the bar (which I will need, considering the fieldwork I have to do haha)… but the logical part of my brain also wants to believe that J. and/or the rest of the crew is staying somewhere in Makati that is
1) not too chi-chi (if the reports of Matty D pricing himself out of reach at $2 million are true) and
2) definitely not in Burgos.
Really, as long as he’s safe from harm, it’s all good.
