“Under the weather” is accurate—we feel like there’s a low pressure area roiling under our skin and we’re going to rest until it passes. In the meantime, here’s an open post for whatever topics you wish to go on about.
Suggestions: the RH bill (There’s an anti rally??), the Olympics, Brave, Cinemalaya (we didn’t see anything), and why the premiere of The Bourne Legacy on Sunday requires formal attire (You want formal attire? We’ll show you formal *thunder and lightning*. Hey are they implying that the stars will show up?)
Zen and the Art of Archery, illustrated: Blurry Target is no trouble for ace archer

I wish that, before the Catholic Church uses/abuses their “Sanctity of Life” argument to attack the RH Bill, they would care to explain first why infanticide/abortion was ordered by the God of the Bible (1 Samuel 15:3, Psalms 137:9, and Numbers 5:21.)

here are some random stuff for you:
a maze of books at a festival in london:

Year Zero by Rob Reid (founder of Listen.com and Rhapsody music service)
The book is about aliens who have been illegally downloading our music for years which means that the penalties they owe are equivalent to the value of the whole universe. A couple of the aliens ask a human lawyer for help while the rest of them just want to destroy earth to settle the issue.

In the first place, scripture can be cited for ANY purpose. In the second place, you can’t use logic against those who keep invoking powers beyond logic.
So let’s just tax the Church.

I pity those students who are forced to go to EDSA for that anti-rally thing. Anlakas ng ulan OK?! Where’s the compassion? Ihahatid ba nila yang mga yan after?

Kung may “divine imprimatur”, baket umulan. >>> LOL
On a different topic I wasn’t able to see any Cinemalaya films too :(( I wanted to watch Bwakaw & Ang Nawawala. Kakainis!
And also Mark Barriga’s campaign for the Olympic gold continues today. He fights a Kazakhstan opponent in the ring later hehe.

Maganda ang Ang Nawawala! Nakakainlababo yung bida. Ang gwapo niya at ang sarap niyang yakapin tuwing gagamitin niya yung mukha niyang paawa. Parang cute na puppy :D
Namamangha ako ng sobra dun sa South Korean archer na malabo ang paningin! Ang galing! Sana asintahin niya mula sa London yung mga nagsasabing “Yes to Saved Sex, No to Safe Sex” sa prayer rally kanina!

greeneggsnham : Ah talaga? Manonood ako pag pinalabas ulit hehe :) Ang Roco twins yung bida di ba?
Hindi ko kinaya ang Yes to saved sex. Saang ise-save?

Haha. Mukhang mainit lang talaga habang nagshu-shooting sila.

LOL. Although some of those verses were direct orders from their God. Good luck na lang sa apologists nila.
I agree on taxing the Church. They have billions invested in a lot of companies here in the Philippines, after all. It’s about time. http://www.pse.com.ph/resource/corpt/2012/BPI_Top100_Jun2012.pdf
And to be fair, tax ALL religions.
Also, prayers for the sick should come with a disclaimer: No Approved Therapeutic Claims.
