The most romantic couple in Westeros is…
Not Jon Snow and Ygritte (or you), not Robb and Talisa Stark (or you), not Gendry Baratheon and Arya Stark (or you), not Sam and Gilly or Edmure Tully (The one good thing about having fish as your sigil: very cool scales armor) and the Frey girl, and not, alas, Tyrion Lannister and us.
It’s Brienne of Tarth and Jaime Lannister! Holy crap, a grown-up relationship based on acceptance, mutual respect and equality. Who knew. And who cares if it’s not the traditional romantic stuff, it’s intense.
The books hint at it, the series develops it, and good actors and cheese-free writing make it work.
Aaargh they’re setting up the Red Wedding.

To add weight to things, episode 8 was written by GRRM himself. It further explores where those two crazy characters are at.

Nakakakiliiiiig!!!

Don’t give people a heart attack. It’s episode 7.
Also, please do not deafen us by posting in all caps.
Kung hindi niya nabanggit sa interview hindi namin mapapansin na bali ang ilong niya.

That gif! It’s like Zeno’s kiss: their lips seem to move ever closer, but will never actually touch.

Ejia: Zeno’s kiss! We’re going to steal that.

Can’t wait for the Red Wedding! And Tyrion’s veganza!
May 15th, 2013 at 00:26
Tyrion becomes a vegan?! (It’s ‘venganza’.)

@maryelogs: Sino ba ang mag-aakala na si Oathkeeper ang simbolo ng pinaka-sincere na action na ginawa ni Jaime sa buong buhay niya, so far. *haaayyy* Nanlalambot ang tuhod ko.

I watched an interview of Emilia Clarke and Kit Harrington, and the two seem to have an insane amount of chemistry between them.
Daenerys and Jon Snow would be interesting, if it happens.

My apologies, your grace (kowtowing to Her absoluteness). Fingers failed to synchronize with my mind in during those hours, your grace. Peter, in real life, is a vegetarian.

And when you saw the actors who play Jon and Daenerys, did you go “Uuuuuuyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy”? No shame in that! Getting caught up in the lives of fictional characters (within reasonable limits, i.e. not mistaking them for real people) wards off boredom.
Reportedly George R.R. Martin gave Benioff and Weiss the rights to his books after they gave the correct answer to his question, “Who is Jon Snow’s mother?” If their answer is the same as ours, which is likely, then the Jon-Daenerys story will happen.

Actually, I thought “Now kiss!” Apparently, I think in memes now. It also made me think of that “slapping sound” that Khal Drogo and Khaleesi made in that “scene.” The quotation marks make me feel a bit naughty here.
I mentioned this to a friend (Daenerys and jon snow’s chemistry, not the slapping sound), and he mentioned that I am hardly the first to notice the actors’ “Uuuuuyyyy” factor. It would seem that the two are popular around the net. They are even on the cover of a magazine–dressed, or should I say costumed, as their characters.
If you think about it, “Ice” and “Fire” are Jon Snow and the Dragon lady.
I read the first book years ago, and I only made the connection to the HBO series recently, when my wife, who had been pestering me to watch the series since it first came out, made me watch the first episode.
I was hooked, despite getting headslapped by my sweet wife a few times (for yelling out “boobies” every time there’s a pair, or pairs, on the tv screen).
So yeah, I love getting “caught up”. =)

Your grace, you mean that Jon Snow’s father is….OH YEAH!

Slowpoke the hippo, that’s what I am, haha.
You already covered it pala (jesus, I think that’s a pun).
I suppose I am also one of those who gets a nerdglaze over Sylvio Forel (one of my favorite characters, second only to that honorable mug, Ned Stark), and still hopes that he somehow survived.
“There is only one true god, and his name is Death. And there is only one thing we say to Death: not today.”
More of him sana.

*Syrio Forel
May 16th, 2013 at 17:23
“Silvio Forel”—Confusing Game of Thrones with The Sopranos! Which was their initial hook, actually.
Could Syrio Forel be alive as…Jaqen H’ghar?? They’re Braavosi, no? A man has many faces, or none.
Speaking of HBO series, we’ve not really taken to Tommy Carcetti as Lord Baelish/Littlefinger. He’s a one-note schemer. Varys the eunuch we like, especially when he opens that box haha.
P.S. Ice and Fire could be referring to Jon’s parents.
