Men In Pink
The Financial Times says it’s safe for men to wear pink in the office. “But if the thought of wearing orange, pink or purple makes you worried you might be mistaken for the Joker, fear not, as there are less strident ways to bring a little colour in to your wardrobe.”
I think Filipino men have always been comfortable in pink. (No one even blinks at a pink barong, although a barong in shiny material hurts the eyes.) The main problem isn’t the color, but the fit. By the way, how did Lacoste become the uniform of the upper middle class in the P.I.? For as long as I can remember, and my memory goes back to shiny Nik-Nik shirts, Lacoste has been the brand.
As for the Joker, he has nothing on German Moreno. Isn’t it time Kuya Germs’ suits got their own museum retrospective?

I agree with you. I’m a huge fan of Pink shirts, I actually have most colour shades of pink and alot of people misinterpret my fashion. orange, yellow are abit to obscure and can make one look lost(lol). I work in a serviced office environment and what you wear really matters. So Pink definitely rules.

The male characters in a few Koreanovelas sure love wearing pink shirts too.
