Doppelganger?
Look at the recent ads of the competing telcos. Same color, same font (Impact). Can you spot the difference?
A. Of course. They’re entirely different.
B. Yes, the one on the left is. . .wait. The one on the right is. . .I am confused.
C. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
D. The later ad is a copycat designed to confuse the market.
E. What we have here is a failure of the imagination.
F. Naah, it’s just sneaky.

First of all, forgive me if I sound stupid but looking closely at the images it seems that at least the first two ads are both ads for globe tattoo plans so it’s not a surprise that they have the same theme. The third one… I think I also saw that ad in a globe center once so it may also be from globe.

Nope, the third is from the other telco.

It’s D hahaha :)

Unless there was a significant amount of time between the release of the competing ads, I’m going to chalk it up to the age-old law of sex sells.

Maybe the ads are from the same ghost copywriter working for different ad agencies who ripped off the concept somewhere else.

I’m calling this for C, D, and E, with a side order of “pakibalik nga kay Scarlett Johansson yung Black Widow look niya habang hindi pa palabas ang Avengers kthxbai.” And I am far from being a fan of the ScarJo, mind.
FWIW, though, I like Sarah Gaugler. And thus I like the middle ad the best.

The first two feature Alodia Gosiengfiao(sp?). The third one, Anne Curtis?
August 10th, 2011 at 21:57
Yes it’s Anne Curtis. So this is what she’s been talking about in Twitter.

The stylist for Anne’s ad channeled Angelina Jolie’s Salt character.

the third ad is more engaging. It[‘s not as busy as the first two and the model is better looking and has a more dynamic pose.

ifrico(#7) second one is Sarah Gaugler.
It’s probably D or E.

I call D & E. I can’t tell the difference between all of these. The broadband ad that has recall is the ones from Sky – the “life is faster at 5mbps” or something which are very clever and very funny.
