Cracking open a new notebook
Moleskine pocket notebook, unlined, Php1100 at NBS.
Two retro technologies we cling to: writing by hand on notebooks made of paper, and audiocassettes.
Details engraved on the cover.
Plus stickers for customizing. Couldn’t resist cracking it open for a quick scribble.
P.S. Our Wu-Tang name is Sarkastik Ambassador. The Wu-Tang Name Generator knows all!

Saw this at National Bookstore and I loved it! I’ve always wanted to own a Moleskine but I get second thoughts about shelling out the bucks when I realize my handwriting will just mess up the notebook. Oh well. It’s still lovely.

You don’t actually need a Moleskine for writing. We just have a notebook fetish, plus the high cost forces us to write something on the notebooks so we don’t feel stupid about the expense.
There are plenty of good-looking, inexpensive pocket notebooks in bookstores. You could carry one around so you can get used to your handwriting, and then treat yourself to a Moleskine if you still feel like it.

I bought a pseudo-Moleskine at National Bookstore a couple of years ago. If I am not mistaken, it was featured here. I have been been writing quotes on it since then. Recently, I ‘gifted’ myself a Moleskine pocket planner. Mahal siya pero pikit mata ko siyang binili. I can’t wait to use it for next year!
I wish I could own this.

Of the limited edition Moleskines this is our favorite, more than the Star Wars, Little Prince or even the Lego. Although the Hobbit Moleskines haven’t arrived yet. The Shanghai Tang non-event notebook we liked the least.
