I was at the edge of my seat when Christiane Amanpour’s group was hounded by pro-Mubarak protesters.
May the young people of today have a better appreciation and pride for EDSA 1.
It’s daunting and awe inspiring at the same time; that protest around the arab world all started with a single act of self-immolation.

I wish AC had thrown a punch back or two, but I guess that would be asking for too much. But yes, getting roughed up by thugs gives a journalist (a Vanderbilt, no less) some bragging rights, that’s why this story is news by itself.
