Never got to congratulate you so… Congratulations on the 5th anniversary of of your blog! I’ve been a reader since it was still in Blogger (Blogspot). Wish I was at the celebration, but my work schedule could not permit…
Grey is my favorite color. Is that Momelia’s older brother? Chos.
Walang ano man, Jessica. Napansin ko lang na may ilang ‘mahiyain’ no’ng Thursday. May mga gusto sana akong lapitan para to break the ice kaya lang nahiya din ako haha Siguro next time (if and if, depende sa Universe) tayong mga ‘mahiyain’ kuno eh magsama-sama together muna for a minute of getting rid of the hiya/pa-demure effect. Sabay kanta/sayaw ng classic first day of school tune “I’m _(your name)__! I’m glad to be your friend, a little bit more, a little bit, a little bit, a little more!” Syempre, p’wede rin i-translate sa gay speak yang tune na yan if you like para after a minute walanghiya-hiya na, di bha! Mahiyain of the Universe, Unite! :-)
We should also be thanking you. After all, how often does one get a chance to enjoy free food, free booze and the company of such lovely, smart and somewhat like-minded people?
I wanted to ask you several questions pero inatake na ako ng hiya. The attire for the party was supposed to follow the world domination theme. Why did you choose a dress for the occasion?
Also, what were your impressions of the readers who attended your party?
Because we knew that some flaming nitwit would ask why we were wearing a dress. You do not see us often enough to have an idea what we wear in real life. We are relieved that no one was predictable enough to wear armor or a ceremonial outfit to signify “world domination”. If you are meant to conquer you should be able to do it in your bathrobe.
That was Holden, and the kid’s jumpier than a trampoline when I went ahead and did the usual courtesies. He was alone, and his eyes were all over the place, and his legs were crossed in that familiar nervous language. I judged that he he needed conversation, so I did my socializing mission, and I have developed this sisterly fondness for that little nerd within the next ten minutes.
You rock, Holden!
The party was hella wicked devilish fun! Who knew we came in all shapes and sizes? And, surprisingly, preferences. I’m saying this because I was expecting females and the population of Gaynerdia. But there were about two or three straight guys in that room that night.
Their presence was refreshing.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Madame for this opportunity! Three snaps in a Z-formation! I’m glad I attended; I thoroughly love the nerds all the more this time around! Reprezzent! Muahness from Pasig Cirehhh!
Pinakyaw ko ata ang lahat ng mga exclamation points sa Manila dun sa huling paragraph ko. Wala tuloy ako magamit ngayon. Deym.
I’d have to agree, most of us were quite shy. If it wasn’t for Stella and Nina saying hi to me first, I would have been quietly drinking the wine all night too! :P

Here’s to more years of jessicarulestheuniverse.com. The collective quirkiness and brainpower in the venue? Geez, hypernova quality.
