Theoretical poster for a movie that doesn’t exist…yet.
We wrote an ironic geek rom-com with Mike Alcazaren. It hasn’t been green-lit or cast yet, or funded, but these are the actors Mike can see in the roles. (He designed the poster; we have nothing to do with the color pink. We tried recently but it didn’t take.) Let’s just say it involves comics and Kawaii Idol. It would’ve covered tennis too but we agreed that that might be too crowded.

In case hindi available si Sandara, madami naman sigurong Korean girls na nag-aaral ng English (or Engrish) na may acting talent :D

medyo confusing ang casting and the comment section. engrish is japanese english, just like what the title font and the “kawaii idol” suggest. korean english would sound more like engurisuuuuuu. magka-iba ang “english accent” ng japanese at korean, although mas magiging effective nga siguro ang korean actress sa role, mas tama na kung japanese ang gaganap.
pero opinyon ko lang ‘yon, baka mali ako.

1. Pagpalagay na nating tama ang mga sinabi mo, hindi ba pwedeng gumanap na Hapon si Sandara? Kung sasabihin mong hindi, edi dapat si Sayuri sa Memoirs of a Geisha, Hapon din . Si Nicole Kidman, bawal nang gumanap ng kahit ano maliban sa Australyanong babae..
2. Ayon sa Wikipedia “Engrish can be found in many places, including signs, menus, and advertisements. Terms such as Japanglish, Japlish or Janglish for Japan, Konglish for Korea, and Chinglish for China are more specific terms for Engrish.” Hindi ko sinasabing tama iyon, sinasabi ko lang na iyon ang naaayon sa Wikipedia
3. Kumontext-clues naman tayo ng konti. Wag masyadong magpaka grammar or trivia nazi sa isang bagay na kathang isip pa lamang ng may-akda (na siyang hindi rin naman ako).
