Will Ferrell courts Filipino tilt-a-whirl operators vote
As long as you’re agog at the new Bourne Legacy trailer featuring Tagalog dialogue and a chase scene on Manila rooftops, here’s the trailer for the Will Ferrell-Zach Galifianakis movie The Campaign, in which congressional candidate Ferrell sucks up to Filipino tilt-a-whirl amusement park ride operators. “Salamat.”

It’s nice to see these movie ads in between legitimate political campaign ads that have finally flooded our TV screens here in the US. You barely see the difference between the real ones and the ones set up for laughs. The bad part is that the real ones will degenerate in tone, message, and level of pandering as we slowly plod toward election day.
I hate to think that the first Tuesday of November is still a distant mark from now. Ugh…a few more months to endure this drivel.
