THEY CANNOT BE SERIOUS! Solar Sports stopped the live telecast of the Federer-Davydenko semifinal to air some taped car show!
When the telecast was interrupted Roger led 7-5, 7-6, 1-4. I just checked the Roland Garros site: The Fed won in straight sets, the last 7-6. Are they even going to air the Djokovic-Nadal match?

epic 3rd set. nikolay was serving for that set. roger was down 3-5 (i think). rog came back and won in straight sets. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

And so it’s on – Federer vs Nadal on Sunday. I don’t think I can watch. It’s too terrifying!
(I followed today’s semis through the live scores at the official site; even so, I was biting my nail seeing how Davydenko was too close to taking a set every time).

thought espn is going to show the RG finals. don’t understand why espn prefers to show fishing on tv instead. or poker. no wonder us tennis is in a bind now. they keep marketing andy roddick and james blake. i don’t mind james, he’s very likable. but us tennis should begin to think global to probably unearth the next big thing for us tennis. almost everyone just wants to play for the nba, nfl or, to play baseball. tennis is more cerebral. a chess game with just a yellow ball and two horses. but what’s the surprise? they elected bush (again).
well, had to search for a good half hour online to find out that it’s nbc. grocery shopping is a major order for today because i don’t plan to leave the house tomorrow. will be glued to the tv. i know i should do doing something more important, like finish my thesis manuscript? but everything will be on a standstill to see roger finally conquer the red clay at RG. (a catheter is an afterthought. would not wish to go the bathroom either.)
